This project involved creating an exceptional kitchen extension for Paul and Anushya's late Victorian Semi located in Weston Park, Crouch End, North London. The main objective was to extend the kitchen and create better visual and physical connections to the garden. Additionally, we explored the potential of connecting the rear living room to the garden and kitchen, thereby bringing it back to life with a spacial synergy. As a result, we had to enlarge the terrace off the spare bedroom/office and bring in natural light from the ceiling. We also identified the possibility of opening up the entrance to the first-floor space to allow for glimpses of the garden tree tops from the front entrance.
